This Autism Awareness Webinar and presentation has been specifically designed for the dental setting and is suitable for all members of the Dental Team. 🦷
World Autism Awareness Day took place on Thursday 2nd April with the month April celebrating many events taking place that raise awareness and understanding around the Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
This presentation is usually delivered as a lunch and learn. The feedback that we have received is that this presentation has left our dental professionals, (from receptionist to principle dentist), feel more confident in caring and communicating with those with ASD as well as opening their understanding outside of the dental setting. We hope that you feel the same and would love to hear your feedback as we are always looking to improve and learn from our community & colleagues. We welcome you to share your experience with us in the comments box.
Here's what our delegates have to say...
"Very nice presentation, interesting information. Will use information into our daily treatment at the clinic and focus on them more" Dr Maleek Al-Rawi, Principal Dentist, Wimbledon Dental & Implant Centre
"Very informative and explained things I wouldn't have thought of. Now I am more confident on how to deal with patients" Trainee Dental Nurse, Wimbledon Dental & Implant Centre
